FGR Dance Team will be holding auditions for the 2021-2022 Competition and Sideline Team on  May 17th - 19th from 3:15 - 5:00pm in the Main Gym. Dancers will need to specify at auditions if they are interested in auditioning for just the Sideline Team or Sideline & Competition Team.

Skills necessary:

• Double turn (triple for competition team)

• Toe Touch

• Split Leaps

• Center Leaps 

• Calypso 

• Turning Disk 

• A la Seconde and Fouette Turns

• An Understanding of Dance Terminology

•  

Dancers will be asked to learn a pom routine, jazz routine and sideline along with completing the above mentioned technical skills. Choreography will be learned on Monday and Tuesday with the final audition performance taking place on Wednesday. Dancers should wear anything they are comfortable dancing in for auditions and jazz shoes (if you do not have jazz shoes tennis shoes are fine.) We ask that dancers wear black tops and bottoms on Wednesday for the final audition.
