Strength and Conditioning

“This is the time…NOW…when players can train and push themselves to places where most don’t want a part of.  Nobody is watching now, but they will be in 2020!. “-Paul Carcaterra Strength and Conditioning Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays at 3:15-4:30 pm in the weight room.  All athletes are welcome.  Led by our own Mickey Redmond.

Congratulations to all of the FGR fall athletes.  What an amazing group of Student Athletes, congratulations on many trips to districts, regionals and states.  Go Irish!!! The Irish Men’s Lacrosse team would like to welcome back all of our students and athletes.  Please have an amazing 2019-2020 school year.  Only 198 days left until the Lacrosse season starts.  In the meantime focus on your fall sports, getting good grades and wall ball!!!!!   Go Irish!!!

Helping Out & Saying Thanks

This past Friday the Men’s Lacrosse team and Honey Badgers Summer Lacrosse team spent the morning helping out around FGR to say thanks for the support.  They worked on a number of projects to improve the school and grounds: cleaning the shed, building some racking, moving excess pallets, etc.  Steve Polcyn and Mickey Redmond thanks.

Lacrosse and Bowling set participation records in Michigan!!!!

Barn Clean-Up

On Friday morning, July 12th the Honey Badger Lacrosse team will be helping to organize and clean the barn.  All Lacrosse players are welcome to join us and we could use your help.  The fun starts at 9:00 am.  Look forward to seeing you then.

All-State Honors!

Congratulations to two junior lacrosse players! Matt Montgomery and Parker McFarlane. Matt Montgomery, Attack, was honored with all-state honorable mention. Parker McFarlane, Defense, was honored with all-state 3rd team.   These honors are for all lacrosse teams in the state, no matter the division. This means that there were only 32 attack and 32 defensive

Lacrosse Regional Semi-Final-TONIGHT!!!!!

Join the men’s Lacrosse team tonight at their regional semi-final game against Royal Oak Shrine.  This should be an awesome game.  The game starts at 7:00 pm and is being played at Detroit Country Day’s field.  Come cheer on this amazing team of men as they continue their journey to regional finals.  Go Irish!!!!!!

Mens Lacrosse Quarter Finals-Monday May 20th.

Varsity Men’s Lacrosse begins their journey for an MHSAA Championship with a home game on Monday, May 20th.  FGR is hosting this event beginning at 4:00 pm.  I checked, the weather should be great: 60 degrees and sunny.  Please come out and cheer this great group of senior players as they lead the team to victory.
